Here’s the Dramatis Personae of Allure (along with some key locations and definitions, for those who may not be into Ninjago or who have perhaps forgotten).  For the canon characters, I’ve also included links to the Ninjago wiki (which I’ve found to be mostly accurate).

Updates and new definitions will be included as they occur in Allure.

Ninja Team: 

Lloyd:

  • Elemental Master of Energy
  • Prophesied Green Ninja
  • Son of Lord Garmadon/Sensei Garmadon and Misako Garmadon
  • Nephew of Sensei Wu
  • Grandson of the First Spinjitzu Master
  • Leader of the Ninja Team
  • First a bratty kid
  • Struggled with his father being an evil warlord who was banished to the Underworld
  • His mother abandoned him at Darkley’s Boarding School for Bad Boys when he was little 
  • Later adopted by the Ninja and now a reformed Ninja devoted to good
  • His father was reformed in S2-S3, but sacrificed himself in S4
  • Possessed by Morro, Master of Wind in S5
  • Fell in love with Harumi, who later betrayed him in order to summon back his father using a demonic ritual that would only bring back his evil side

Kai: 

  • Elemental Master of Fire
  • Brother to Nya, Master of Water
  • Currently in relationship with Skylor Chen
  • Parents were forced to abandon him at 7 – raised himself and Nya by himself
  • Was a blacksmith before becoming a Ninja
  • Always thought he was destined to be the Green Ninja before he realized Lloyd was

Morro:

  • Former Master of Wind
  • Died before the Pilots and was sent to the Cursed Realm for his bad deeds
  • Escaped Cursed Realm in S5 and possessed Lloyd
  • Died in S5

Chamille:

  • Elemental Master of Form
  • Can change her appearance and turn invisible
  • Participated in the Tournament of Elements in S4 where she competed against Lloyd in a round of Thunderblade
  • Later befriended Lloyd and even dated after S11

Harumi:

  • Former Jade Princess of Ninjago
  • Turned out to be the Quiet One
  • Attempted to murder Lloyd when she was found out
  • Summoned back a demonic version of Lloyd’s father from the Departed Realm
  • Later redeemed herself by saving a child before dying in a collapsing apartment  

Garmadon

  • Elemental Master of Destruction
  • Bitten by the Great Devourer as a child
  • Turned evil as a result; was only cleansed after Lloyd gained Golden Power in S2
  • Sacrificed himself in S4 by banishing himself to the Cursed Realm to defeat Chen and the Anacondrai
  • The fully evil version of himself was later summoned back by Harumi in S8 with the Oni Masks
  • Defeated in S9 and imprisoned
  • Allied with the Ninja in S10
  • Whereabouts currently unknown

Kate – the Mysterious Dragon Rider

Ronin – a mercenary and thief who occasionally allies with the Ninja, depending on how much he’s getting paid

Darreth – the rather awkward and incapable “Brown” Ninja.  A huge source of amusement for the Ninja

Cyrus Borg – An brilliant, famous inventor who built PIXAl, Borg Tower, the Borgwatch, and more

Definitions:

    • The First Spinjitzu Master -creator of Ninjago, descendant of Oni and Dragon, father of Wu and Garmadon and grandfather of Lloyd 
    • Serpentine – a human-sized race of humanoid snake people
    • Skulkin – a race of skeleton warriors who live in the Underworld.  Those who die in battle and are unable to accept death are sent to the Underworld to become Skulkin.
    • Ghost Warriors – the souls of those banished to the Cursed Realm
    • Stone Warriors – Indestructible warriors created by the Overlord out of Dark Matter
    • Colossus – a giant rock monster created by Emperor Garmadon
    • Oni – a dark race of demonic beings that predates Ninjago and are eternally at war with the Dragons.
    • Phoenixes – a large bird that can burst into flame 
    • Nindroids – a race of robots cloned from Zane’s designs and created by the Overlord 
    • Golden Master – a figure from legend prophesied to use the power of the First Spinjitzu Master to terrorize Ninjago and bring darkness.  Thought to be fulfilled by the Overlord in S3
    • Vengestone – a type of stone that can block elemental power
    • Chronosteel  – a type of special metal that can absorb elemental power
    • Great Devourer – an gigantic, ever-consuming snake that grows the more it devours.  It bit Lord Garmadon, turning him evil. 
    • Hands of Time – Elemental Masters of Time who rebelled against the Elemental Alliance and tried to take over Ninjago. 
    • Destiny’s Bounty – a flying ship that the Ninja use as a mobile base
    • Tournament of Elements – A tournament orchestrated by Master Chen as a cover-up for stealing elemental powers
    • Borg Tower – A massive, high-tech 100-floor tower built by Cyrus Borg that sits in the middle of Ninjago City
    • Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu – a powerful artifact that can dramatically increase an Elemental’s power.  Both currently destroyed. 
    • Megaweapon – A combination of the four Golden Weapons created by Garmadon 
    • Golden Weapons – Four elemental weapons used by the First Spinjitzu Master to create Ninjago

Locations: 

Departed Realm – where all souls eventually go after death

Cursed Realm – a Realm created to punish evil people

Ninjago the Realm- The realm in which most of the Ninja’s adventures take place.  

Ninjago the Island – The continent/island of Ninjago.  Split in half by the First Spinjitzu Master, creator of Ninjago

The Dark Island – the other half of Ninjago Island

Underworld – a Realm located underneath Ninjago filled with Skulkin

First Realm – Also known as the Realm of Oni and Dragon.  It was the first realm in existence and was created through the clash of Oni and Dragon

The Monastery of Spinjitzu – a Monastery owned by Sensei Wu where the Ninja generally live

The Spine – A massive mountain range of Ninjago that runs alongside the “spine” of the “dragon” of Ninjago Island (hence its name)

The Dragon Caves – A place located near the Spine of Ninjago where most of the dragons of Ninjago reside

EVIL  – the former fortress of EVIL and the Immortals.  Also located near the Spine
